Coffee can only do so much to get you through the day. Consider swapping your extra dose of caffeine for essential oils. Citrus-forward essential oils like grapefruit, tangerine, and lime not only produce invigorating aromas, but can also help uplift your mood. Try adding them to a diffuser placed by your bed for a boost in the morning, or in your work space to keep you going throughout the day. You can also get a jolt of energy with peppermint oil, which helps to decrease fatigue and can even aid in recovery following a workout.
